Inline Sediment & Carbon Filter Installation Guide
Step-by-Step Installation Process
-
Turn Off Water Supply & Power
Shut off the water supply and disconnect power to the RO system.
-
Relieve Pressure
Open the RO faucet to release any water pressure in the lines.
-
Locate Old Inline Filters
Identify the inline sediment filter and inline carbon filter in your RO system.
-
Disconnect Tubes from Old Filters
-
Push the collet ring on the push-fit connector inward.
-
Gently pull the tube out from both ends of the old filter.
-
-
Remove Old Filters
Take out the old filters and discard them properly.
-
Check Flow Direction
Each new filter has an arrow indicating water flow. Make sure you align it correctly.
-
Connect Tubes to New Filters
-
Insert the tube firmly into the push-fit connector until it locks.
-
Slightly pull back to ensure it’s secured.
-
-
Double-Check Connections
Confirm that both filters are installed in the correct sequence:
-
Sediment filter first
-
Carbon filter next
-
-
Turn On Water Supply
Slowly turn on water and check for leaks at the connections.
-
Flush the Filters
Allow water to flow for 10–15 minutes to remove any loose carbon particles before drinking.

Important Note
Our inline sediment and carbon filters are brand-new, quality-tested, and 100% defect-free. If your RO system does not work properly after installation, possible reasons include:
-
Incorrect filter flow direction
-
Loose or improperly inserted tubes in push-fit connectors
-
Clogged or exhausted RO membrane (if TDS remains high)
-
Low input water pressure
-
Other faulty components like pump or flow restrictor
