RO MEMBRANE INSTALLATION GUIDE
Step-by-Step Installation Process
Watch the tutorial video below for further help.
-
Turn Off Water Supply & Power
Shut off the water supply and disconnect the power to your RO system.
-
Relieve Pressure
Open the faucet to release any pressure inside the system.
-
Locate the Membrane Housing
Find the cylindrical membrane housing, usually on the top part of your RO system.
-
Open the Housing Cap
Use a wrench if needed. Be careful not to damage the O-rings.
-
Remove the Old Membrane
Pull out the old RO membrane using pliers if necessary. Dispose of it properly.
-
Clean the Housing
Rinse the inside of the housing to remove dirt and debris.
-
Insert the New RO Membrane
Push the new membrane inside firmly until it is seated correctly. Ensure the end with two O-rings goes in first.
-
Close the Housing Cap
Tighten securely but do not overtighten to avoid cracks.
-
Reconnect and Check for Leaks
Turn the water supply back on, reconnect power, and inspect for leaks.
-
Flush the System
Allow water to run through the system for at least 30 minutes to flush out any preservatives before drinking.
Important Note
Our RO membranes are brand-new, factory-tested, and 100% defect-free. If your system does not perform as expected, common reasons include:
-
Incorrect installation (membrane not fully seated)
-
Clogged pre-filters or post-filters
-
Low water pressure or faulty pump
-
Damaged flow restrictor or check valve
-
High TDS or very hard water requiring additional treatment
-
Worn-out or damaged O-rings causing leaks
